Harvath Law Group, LLC is at the cutting edge of the emerging law governing domestic use of unmanned aircraft systems ("UAS"). The rapidly developing technology underlying UAS has revolutionized the possibilities for civil and commercial use of such devices in the national airspace, and has created a near-infinite number of new potential scenarios by which a person or their property may be damaged or intruded upon by a drone.

The quickly-increasing and widespread interest in domestic use of UAS has led the federal government to fast-track development of regulations governing the operation of UAS in the national airspace. The FAA Modernization and Reform Act of 2012 authorized and instructed the FAA to begin drafting rules to govern use of UAS in domestic airspace. The FAA's final regulations were completed and issued in December, 2015. The importance of the FAA regulations regarding the domestic use of UAS is set to grow by magnitudes as both public and private entities inevitably continue to use UAS at an ever-increasing rate.

Due to its attorneys' commitment to this evolving area of law, Harvath Law Group is able to advise its clients as to questions relating to the proper usage of UAS, and to serve as knowledgeable plaintiff's counsel in the event a client must bring a claim against a UAS operator due to some sort of personal or property injury, invasion of privacy, and/or other tort caused by UAS usage.

If you have questions about the legal use of, or in some manner have been injured by an unmanned vehicle, the attorneys at Harvath Law Group have the unique know-how to make sure that you or your business are fully compensated for any UAS-related injury.
